With us you can experience the beautiful and unspoilt nature of Vestmanna on foot.
Never before has the nature north of Vestmanna been presented or exhibited in this way. We felt that this was a great loss to tourists and locals alike, so we decided to offer hiking trips in the hills/mountains above Vestmanna with experienced guides who know the area.

This is a great opportunity to get away from the noise and stress – a chance to enjoy the moment and the peace that surrounds you – a sense of well-being for body and soul. Imagine the refreshing breeze, the birds singing and chirping as you walk through the green grass looking at the outstanding view of the mountains and valleys. It certainly is something to experience! We are also so fortunate that two pairs of red-throated divers live in this area.
We can also arrange trips to the neighbouring villages of Hvalvík and Saksun. It is also possible to walk north “í Dalar” where the famous author Heðin Brú used to spend much of his time and gather inspiration.
All trips are guided by people who are familiar with the area and know the nature and history of this part of the Faroe Islands.
The trips are by request or booking and we require a minimum of 10 people per trip.
All trips include a packed lunch.
